The Launch of the Môntage book happened on 21st June. It is described, with photos, on the Launch / Lansiad page.
Readings from Môntage were held in the libraries on Anglesey and Môntage was introduced with readings at meetings of WI, Rotarians and other organisations.
Events of 2014
We gave an introduction and readings to "Dwyran Evergreens" and on World Book Day, 6th March, read at Menai Bridge Library (see right) and at a packed room as part of Beaumaris Festival in May.
Later readings were enjoyed at Trearddur Bay afternoon Club, Ucheldre Centre and Amlwch Library.
Reading at Menai Bridge Library
We have read items at concerts in aid of the NSPCC in Cemaes and Benllech and given recitations at
the Beaumaris Festival, read pieces in Menai Bridge Library and to members of the Over 50s Club, Moelfre. We also read scary stories in October at Llangefni Library and ghost stories at 5pm in Beaumaris Library in November.
We set up our stall and look round in wonder – for here are; Dickens with Mrs Gamp, Pegotty and Bob Cratchit, Charlotte Bronte, Mrs Gaskell,
Dr Barnardo and a host of mop-capped crones.
Here is everyone from Downton Abbey and even Queen Victoria (who rubs shoulders with Father Christmas)
And here are we – selling our stunning new book.
We are at THE BEAUMARIS VICTORIAN EXTRAVAGANZA of course!
